Campground Activities Calendar

  • Horseshoe pits are now available, and dartboards on the stage.
  • The following is a tentative list of events for 2022. Note that all events posted may change or be cancelled.
  • Saturday June  18, 2022: musical entertainment at the stage area by Ted Lalonde, country music. No extra cost.
  • Sunday June 19, 2022 at 1PM:  Annual UEL Flag Raising Event at the UEL Cemetery, with re-enactors and special guests, encampment on the grounds near the beach all weekend.
  • July 1 to July 3, 2022 CANADA DAY WEEKEND EVENTS:  Long weekend premium camping rate applied
  • Friday July 1, 2022 8PM Music by Trilogy at the stage area, classic rock favourites from the 70s and up
  • Saturday July 2, 2022 Raffle Table from 11AM to 3PM, Kids’  Bike Decorating at the Stage at 12:30PM, Childrens Activities at the stage including games and bouncy castle from 1PM to 3PM, Raffle Draw at 430PM,  music at the stage by Jay Smith, country/rock musician starting at 8PM, fireworks at the west beach at dusk (weather permitting) then more music!
  • July 29 to August 1, 2022 –  CIVIC HOLIDAY WEEKEND EVENTS: Note- Long weekend premium camping rate applied
  • Saturday July 30, 2022 8PM: musical entertainment  at the stage area, by Jay Smith Band, country music
  • Sunday July 31, 2022 8PM: musical entertainment at the stage area by Texas Tuxedo, country/rock band
  • Saturday August 6, 2022 Christmas in the Park –  Parade time to be announced, and visit by Santa in the park.  Campers are encouraged to decorate their sites and a draw for prizes. Wrapped gifts for children can be handed out on your sites.
  • Friday August 26, 2022: Kid’s Activity: 1PM to 3PM Making Traditional CornHusk Dolls, held at the museum
  • Saturday August 27, 2022 Halloween in the Park Trick or Treating at the trailer from 6PM to 7PM, Costume Party at the Stage area from 7PM to 8PM
  • LABOUR DAY WEEKEND September 2 to 5, 2022:  Note:  Long weekend premium camping rate applied
  • Saturday September 3, 2022 Trailer Park Thrifting in the park from 9AM to noon. Musical entertainment at the stage area by Back Swing, country/rock band 8PM to 11PM
  • Sunday September 4, 2022 Musical entertainment at the stage area by Richard Cranium, 80s/90s music from 8PM to 11PM
  • Saturday September 10th:  Seasonal Campers Meeting at the Stage at 10AM.   Pot Luck/Corn Roast/Chili Cookoff at dinnertime.  Prizes for best chili.
  • October 7-10, 2022 Thanksgiving Weekend, Final weekend of camping season for 2022

What’s New

  • PLEASE NOTE:  The UEL Heritage Centre & Park is currently closed for the 2022 season.  For camping inquiries, please email us at  camping@uel.ca. Our phones are not regularly monitored during our closed season.  For museum or branch contact us at 1784@uel.ca 
  • MUSEUM AND RESEARCH CENTRE is closed for the season until May, 2023.

  • Friday October 7 through Monday October 10, 2022, Thanksgiving Weekend will be final weekend for camping for 2022 season.
  • Saturday November 12, at 1:30PM Regular Branch meeting for Bay of Quinte UEL held at St.Matthews Church, Belleville, speaker is Doug Knutson, topic is The Story of Trenton: Hollywood North.  All welcome.
  • Saturday January 14, 2023 at 1:30PM Bay of Quinte UEL meeting held via ZOOM, speaker Phelps Bell talking on the history of the Bell Family of Quinte. Contact us for the zoom link.
